Description | Ring foot. Plump ovoid body. neck and rima re merely the outturning of the wall above. Slight flanging within mouth suggests that there would have been a cover. Thickened strap handle attached on upper body and on mid-neck. Buff clay, fine grain. Unglazed: resting surfaceand underside of foot. Otherwise covered with black glaze with large mottled areas. One handle and about two-thirds of rim and neck are missing. Glaze dipped. |
