Description

Brown ware, wet smooth. Flat base, ovoid shaped body. Applied notched band at base of neck which has slightly concave sides and an offset outturned rim with groove around its top; loop handle from neck to shoulder. 4 vertical applied notched bands forming 3 panels on neck and in the centre panel is an applied vertical snake; in each of the other panels are inserted 6 small chips of turquoise glaze. Band of vertical groups on shoulder just below neck with below it 3 small lugs.
