Two layers; inner plain and short, sewed up on shoulder; outer, brown and white stripe sewed on about 7" below top

Two parts sewn together. Both plain weave: one plain weave undyed white and the other a warp direction stripe in brown and white. The striped section is seamed on one side. The plain section is multi-layered and sewn in sections (shoulder? Arm hole?) Catalogue card identifies this as a "mummy covering". Color(s): Brown and white.
