Description | Incised fragment with rounded top; base dowel for attachment; figure portrayed is probably a trussed crouching animal - hoof can be seen clearly. Muscarella Publication: "A badly preserved fragment of a couchant calf, as above. The flat base has part of a rectangular or perhaps a bottle-shaped slot preserved for attachment, within which small drill holes are visible." |
