Description | Cylindrical basket with slightly expanding sides and an inverted bottom. Decorated with upper and lower bands of false embroidery in elongated "butterfly" patterns in brown and orange. Central band in a "leaves of fireweed" pattern in black, orange, and purple. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, in-between weave (with plain), three-strand, wrapped weft ("false embroidery"); 18 warps, 18 wefts per square inch. Bottom in between. Related to NA9213 and possibly NA9203. |
