Description | Shape: Baggy alabastron with no handles. Fabric: Fine, pink (7.5YR 7/4) clay with decoration in reddish yellow (5YR 6/6) to black (5YR 2.5/1) paint. Self-slipped. Decoration: Interior of mouth painted. Three bands on neck; frieze of scale pattern on shoulder zone; three bands on lower body. Resting surface unpainted. Condition: One sherd missing, otherwise intact. |
