Description | Human face. Straight sides. Notch between carved, overhanging eyebrows. Nose straight. Eyes intaglio. Wide mouth; lips parted to show teeth. Red paint: band at top of forehead; band across eyes and nose; tip of nose and below; lips and chin. Black: cross on forehead and each cheek; eyebrows; eyes. No piercing except top and sides for attachment. Hair of cedar bark. Small carving nailed on top of mask. |
