Description | 23 bamboo pipes (12 closed, 11 open), held together by two pieces of split palm; bound with native fiber cord; repaired. (GMB 1958) Double row of cane pipes: 1 row open pipines, 1 row closed pipes. Should be 27 tubes: 14 closed, 13 open. 12 closed and 11 open pipes with intrument are held between 2 cane stripes and bound with string. Wire is also used to hold the pipes together. Fair condition. Some pipes missing. String broken. (N. Martin, 1972) |
