Description | Sheath with basically kidney shaped top (wrangka) of warm light brown wood, scalloped along bottom. Graceful curved line incised on one side. Wooden body of sheath (gandar) has a brass cover (pendok), plain on one side and decorated on the other with five panels with (repousse?) scenes of plants and animals (elephant, antelope, etc.). Purchased separately from dagger 49-31-19A. |
