Description | A large, bulb shaped jar with a trough between the rim and the opening of the mouth. It is use to ferment fish or pickle vegetables in the style of Ban Don Tan (บ้านดอนตาล) stoneware. It is also used for making Pla Ra (ปลาร้า) or Pladaek (ปลาแดก), fermented fish sauce. The village makes jars irregularly. |
