Description

Bark bag or basket. Rectangular; of sheets of stringy-bark eucalyptus sewn with pandanus; painted red, yellow, ochre, white clay and charcoal in squares, rectangles, concentric circles, dots, and cross-hatched designs. Placed on top of grave posts to mark the end of the Pukumani funerary rites.
