CBS Register: Round unbaked terracotta relief. God or goddess on panther (dragon)

PBS XIV: Clay relief. The goddess Ninlil (?) standing on the back of the winged dragon with feather tail and head down as vomiting venom, the body and forelegs of a lion and the hind legs of an eagle. The beast belongs to the primitive cycle of the Nippur deities. The goddess has a plaited shawl girded about and opening in front to let pass her bare leg.

Bought from Dr. Noorian. Nippur 1895.

PBS XVI: Ninlil riding on the back of a winged dragon. The dragon has the body and forelegs of a lion, the hind legs, wings, and feathered tail of an eagle. Its head is hanging and its mouth vomiting venom. It is the proper mount of the goddess of atmosphere, riding the heavy rain clouds. She wears a plaited shawl showing her bare leg through the front opening. molded relief.
