Description | Sommerville: Maculated Agate. Philip the Arabian, thirty-sixth Emperor of Rome, and his wife, Otacillia. Greek and Roman Cameos, Case PP. Vermeule: Maculated Agate. Cameo. Jugate busts of two imperial personages of IIIrd. century A.D. facing right. Sommerville identifies them as Philip the Arab, 36th Emperor of Rome and his wife Atacilia Severs. Italian work probably of 19th century. |
