Description | Buff ware, cream slip. Cylindrical foot with wide expanding base; sides of bowl expanding to shoulder and then almost vertical to slightly outcurved rim; very irregular. Dark brown painted decoration; groups of vertical lines on base of foot; 3 horizontal lines about foot; 2 horizontal bands at shoulder; above this, 2 horizontal bands of reptile design separated by plain wavy band; 2 plain bands at rim. Restored. |
