Description | Painted cedar wood; conical base with flaring edges; four "tinas" or coppers, evenly spaced around sides, with face on each that may be beaver; coppers painted in red, blue and black; isolated red motif between each copper and red and black motif around top. Small painted (red and black) wooden panels interspersed with glass panels sewn to cloth to form a ring, around top; this is surmounted by four rather broad twined basketry rings of which bottom one is painted red, next blue, and top two in red and blue stripes; top one ends in a small open funnel. |
