Description | Intact. Round aryballos with rounded bottom. Frieze around middle of body, bordered abaove and below by multiple fine lines between wider glaze bands. In the frieze, two panthers facing each other at the front. Behind, a bird under the handle. On shoulder tongue pattern. The handle is banded. On the upper face of the rim fine concentric glaze lines. Buff clay. Careless painting in dull black glaeze. Peeled. Traces of incision and added purple. |
