Description | Fired clay pot (kura). For cooking. Made with a wooden paddle and round stone anvil. Formerly bark strips (as well as food) were cooked in such clay pots. Round, light yellowish-brown pot with pattern of triangles stamped on surface with wooden paddle. Broken in shipping. |
