Description

Oval, face in top half: domed forehead, crescent ears, small excavated eyes, free-standing, curved, pointed nose, outh a small "V". Bone (?) ornament through nose. Lower two-thirds covered with incised designs: interlocking angular spirals, small chevrons in pairs. Red, black, yellowish-white. Peel ring with cassowary feathers around edge. Peel tied through hole in projection at top.
