Description | CBS Register: fragment of a terracotta figurine, naked woman with necklace, breasts, nable and sexual parts indicated, very early period. PBS XVI: nude woman presenting herself. Breasts and navel are pellets of clay. The pubes is a triangle with markings. Stat nuda, but not without her jewels. The necklace is an incised band of clay. The line above the hips is probably a belt rather than a fold of flesh. The modelling of the head is rudimentary. THe nose is pinched with the fingers out of the lump of clay, with two pellets for eyes attached on either side. A few lines figure the hair brushed back. Mouth and nostrils are mere incisions. |
