Description | CBS Register: terracotta figurine, fragment, rider on horseback PBS XVI: Rider. A fragment. The horse has eyes made of pellets. Fragment of a horse and rider. The rider is handmade; its arms hang onto the horse’s neck and its legs are slightly smoothed onto the horse’s torso. The rider is headless and shows evidence of a plaster repair being broken off at the neck. The horse’s body is restored, but its head with ears, pellet eyes, and distinct mane remain. |
