Description

Drab ware with grits; buff slip. Hemispherical body, ridged shoulder, contracting concave wide neck, flattened rim. Four grooves around neck, the three intervening spaces covered with incised diagonal lines, the direction alternating with the band. Red-brown paint; band around top of rim; above the uppermost incised band 4 horizontal stripes, the innter two connected by a wavy line below the incisions but above the shoulder, a horizontal band connected to band on shoulder by a chain of hatched diamond-shaped lozenges; below shoulder, 3 horizontal bands, the lower two connect by a wavy line.
