Pot slightly painted, band of relief work (fret?) around shoulder, two vertical handles on shoulder

Cooking pot (olla) with a globular body, flaring collar, rounded rim, 2 strap handles on the body, and a rounded base. The vessel has a red slip and white paint around the handles and neck. The vessel appears to have been smoothed with a rotative movement on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. There are protrusions around the center of body made by pressing finger out from interior. Evidence of usewear includes residue/accretion on the bottom and soot on the exterior. There is a resinous black accretion over the exterior base. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2732b."
