Description

Lug Handle; Rope Dec; Mended. Brown ware, cream slip mostly worn off. Ring base, slightly rounded expanding sides. Wide bevelled rim with sharp edge; short wide neck merging into wide rounded shoulder which terminates in a ledge overhanging the side of the vessel. Edge of ledge gouged diagonally in rop design. Large vertical lug on shoulder. Restored from fragments.
