Description | Black slip jug; Complete; slip somewhat worn. Ring base; slender ovoid body with greatest diameter at shoulder; tall moderately wide, slightly concave neck; tightly pinched plain rim; thick vertical handle from rim to shoulder. Deeply incised horizontal lines encircling shoulder; wide, deep vertical flutes on body; all neatly executed. |
