Description | Natural dyes - airampu, indigo, lichens (q'alaq'awa), purple-capina (Solanum tuberosum). Ceremonial - "yacolla". Red ground, with 3 bands of geometric design. Central design band is wider than outer bands, and also includes plant motif down center of band. Tufts of fringe along bottom edge and for one-third of the way up the sides. |
