Description | Oblong; hollow; stamped with figure of Bes; loop attachment on top. Oren: “Gold amulet with loop at top and filled with yellow paste. Raised figure of Ptah, god of the dynastic race at Memphis. Gold amulets of the same shape with Egyptian features (Hathor, coiffure, lotus plants) are common in LB contexts in Syria and Palestine.” |
