Description | Wooden bowl with base; a ridge rings around the bowl a few cms below the rim; the rim is grooved in its middle; bottom part of bowl is slightly raised and is connected to ringed base at four points spaced evenly around the bottom of the bowl; there are four braces that are bent and connect to both the bottom of the bowl and the ringed base; the braces have linear designs carved into them; inside of bowl is shallow at first, then drops off and has a deep center; dark brown in color. Imitated from a pottery form. |
