Description | Side-spouted jug. Fine, gray clay, covered with black paint, burnished. Completely dark painted. Added white not preserved. Intact except for mouth and rim; surface very eroded. For the shape compare Hutchinson, Eccles, and Benton 1939-1940: pl. 14a, with LM I decoration (Palaikastro); Doumas 1976: fig. 27, left (Akrotiri). |
