Description | 692 (P. Betancourt's 1991 publication) Cylindrical pyxis wiht flat, outturned rim, supported on three knob feet. Sandy, reddish yellow (near 5 YR 6/6) clay with rough surface, with light and dark inclusions. Undecorated. Two thirds preserved. The vessel probably had a handle like Hawes et al. 1908: pl. 2, no. 31(Gournia). |
