Description

Fragmentary, handle lost

Spoon with oblong bowl and rounded edges. The vessel has a painted decoration in white and black. There appears to be a burnished finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere with localized reduction as the ceramic paste is orange and gray in color. The catalogue number is written in black ink. Black ink on the bottom of the spoon reads: "2728c."
