Description | Vina. Hollow wood tube with flat upper side. Indented trough with 22 moveable arched metal frets. Low ivory nut. 5 large lateral pegs (3 on 1 side, 2 on the other) with knobs at end. Cone-shaped wooden piece attaches to large gourd at each end of instr. - under bridge and 24 cm. from other end. 4 ivory hooks at end for attachment of metal strings. Fair condition. Both gourds detached - 1 cracked. 1 peg missing, 1 string missing, other strings detached. |
