Description | Tomb 3A = Herscher Tomb 803A. Red polished II black-topped bowl. Thick bright orange clay with thin black interior, large inclusions. Thick crackled dark red lustrous slip; brown band, traces of purple; very wide black top. Round base, deep ovoid body, slightly incurving rim; conical projection from below rim, broken. Undecorated.
