Description | Ornamented Gourds. With burnt decoration. Used for storage of small articles; some were also used for storing oil. Geometric incised and blackened decoration. Three large double lined X formations incised around gourf; vertical lines between each X with cross hatch pattern; in between two of these panels is incised to zig zag forms and a T formation with extended sides; star cut out at top (damaged-possibly seven points) |
