Description | Bracer or forearm protector (kiam) with decorative plume of cassowary feathers.(B) Detachable plume of cassowary feathers which slips between lacing and slat on inside of bracer. Bracer worn (by men) with feathers to feasts only. White feathers attached to the cassowary feathers are from the sulphur crested cockatoo. made by Kibinok Kerek, Miripki clan, Dome village. Purchased from maker 11/28/88. Made for collection. |
