Description

Small fragment of flat disc decorated on both sides with concentric bands of guilloche design with central dot and central design probably of rosettes made of compass-drawn intersecting circles; see 65-31-522.

Muscarella Publication: "Fragments of pyxis "lids." Several have double guilloche borders; one has a row of concentric circles covered with gold foil; one fragment has no rosette pattern on either side. Another fragment also has gold foil traces; the edges are grooved."
