Description

Geometric. Sewn up incorrectly. Ca 1930. Warp faced striped fabric in navy, light blue, purple, red, yellow, and green cotton with geometric motifs in blue stripes.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 72 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, in all colors except purple which is two ply. Weft: 24 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, navy cotton. Warp faced. Supplemental weft - double faced and single faced. 2 panels sewn together end to end with 3 1/2" overlap. Each panel 4 selvedges. Backstrap loom."
