Description | Geometric. Sewn up incorrectly. Ca 1930. Warp faced striped fabric in navy, light blue, purple, red, yellow, and green cotton with geometric motifs in blue stripes. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 72 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, in all colors except purple which is two ply. Weft: 24 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, navy cotton. Warp faced. Supplemental weft - double faced and single faced. 2 panels sewn together end to end with 3 1/2" overlap. Each panel 4 selvedges. Backstrap loom." |
