Description | Large pear-shaped vessel, two vertical loop handles, slightly melon striped in paint Narrow-necked jar/bottle with an ovate body, flaring neck, flattened rim, 2 strap handles on the body, and a flat base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel is painted orange with white lines around the handles and neck and white vertical lines painted down the body. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the body. The catalogue number is written on the bottom of the base and black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2736c." |
