Description | Red. Balanced plainweave, darned patches, 3 selvages present, one edge cut and stitched Very long red plain weave cloth. Identified on the catalogue card as "head band". Most likely wool. Appears to have two repaired areas in a different colored yarn close to and near the warp end. The torn end has a yellow yarn stitched along the edge. Size is approximate, as it was not unfolded completely during survey, and measured while folded. Color(s): Red. |
