Description

Plaid sarong (tembe paleka). An unusual panel-less sarong. Coarse cotton (kafa galia), woven using a warp comb (cau). Local indigo and commercial dyes. Hand sewn. Made in 1982, Tolonggeru hamlet. Black with orange, yellow, white unbalanced plaid orange border stripes.
