Description | Carved wooden purse with fitted lid. Lid is attached with a strip of twisted of leather, knottted at ends, handle. Rounded base and body, cone shaped lid. Carvings are of vertical lines, of half circles. Four of these on both front and back of object. The main body of object has a raised spout opening, in which the lid fits securely . In the mouth of the spout is stuffed a piece of fiber, possibly leather? |
