Sommerville: Chalcedony-onyx. Alexander of Macedonia. Cut by Santarelli. Greek and Roman Cameos, Case S.

Vermeule: Chalcedony-Onyx. Cameo. (Unmounted) bust of a young man identified by Sommerville as Alexander of Macedonia. He states that the gem was cut by Sartarelli, but it is unsigned. Late 18th or early 19th century.
