Description

Wood. Hourglass shaped. One end covered with hide. The bulbous parts are carved with elaborate geometrical design. "Soba or chief's drum bought from the Soba at Kalunga. This soba had been imprisoned by the Portuguese for not supplying the chief with all the cattle and sheep he owned."
