Description | Complete; not mended; some rotting of surface; slip and paint well preserved; hole in base. Raised ring base; ovoid body; slightly concave neck; everted flat horizontal rim; two horizontal handles on belly. Two encircling bands below rim on interior; shot transverse strokes across flat portion of rim; top and bottom of neck painted solid; thin bands encircling mid neck; 4 sets of two double cross-hatched triangles encircling upper shoulder below which 2 encircling bands; thin encircling bands between 2 thicker ones around belly; band encircling base; handles painted solid. |
