Description | Intact. Ring foot and inverted ovoid body tapering upward to a thin neck below a spreading trefoil mouth. Rolled vertical handle, shoulder to back of mouth, ending above in a lion's head, apinted white, which projects over the mouth form behind. The lower body and a band below the handle attachment vertically grooved; in the flat zone between, a band of diagonal lines in yellow paint. Around the neck below the mouth a wreath of leaves in yellow paint; pendent from it ribbons or fillets in purple, with fringed white ends. At front, two doves billing. Buff clay with reddened surface; dull black glaze. |
