Description

Sarangi. Fiddle. Broad neck (open underneath) and broad body. Body is "notched" on one side. Head made of skin. Wide pegbox with two carved holes on top. Four lateral petgs (top row has ten, bottom has eight pegs ( one missing). Another row of nine frontal pegs ( two missing). Stringholder protrudes from front of body. Poor condition - wood rotting, bridge detached, paint peeling.
