Description | Fragmentary poncho of a light stuff. Fine white crepe with appliqued bands and figures of tapestry and fringe ("passamenterie") in red, blue, yellow and white. The main crepe section is seamed along both sides. The arm hole openings are vertical. The added tapestry elements are added in an applique technique to the face of the poncho. Color(s): Crepe section is an off-white color. The added tapestry elements (stripes, figures and fringe) are predominately pink, red, blue, and yellow. |
