Description

UE III: a tall nude man stands alone with one arm raised and one hand extended. Before him a net is spread above two groups of men and animals crossed and rampant. The two little men standing and kneeling, both with their hands up, seem to pray for mercy. Clay sealing. Baked and shellacked post-excavation. Found in ZT 1933 low down in filling of Room GG, Archaic I building. Standing figure? before small figure fallen backwards? Two dwarf-like figures in violent action in background. Guilloche above. Two rampant beasts heraldically crossed? behind.
