Description | Red brown ware, wet smooth. Flat base, squat globular body, very wide neck slightly contracted to outturned rim with groove around its top. Loop handle from neck to shoulder with 2 deep gouges on lower part of handle and molded snake's head(?) on upper part. 3 small lugs on shoulder. Band of criss-cross punctate lines at base of neck and inserted above it, small fragments of turquoise and cobalt-and-white pottery. |
