Description | Small; plaited, ash. Rim: bound with splint hoops.Low handle, bent in squarish shape, of carved splint with notch to fit against rim hoop. Width of splints constant through-out. Once decorated with stamped designs, apparently all over sides, very faded now. Around top are vestiges of designs in a dark color, probably black, while rest are in red. Splints broken on one side. |
