Description | Chert or volcanic origin. Black, fine-grained rock with concoidal fracture. Base is straight and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. Small flakes are driven off it parallel to the longitudinal axis. Edges of the tang element are straight and then contract toward the base. Flake scars are not parallel to one another. Artifact is broken perpendicular to the longitudinal axis on the tang element. |
